It's been a couple of weeks since our last visit to the site. Luckily they got the house water tight - roof on and walls up before the rain started. Most of the siding is in place now, they need to paint it when the weather is good. After the outside is painted the stone work will be done. The front porch, back deck and screen room have been framed and will be completed with a decking material called "Batu". It looks and feels alot like mahogany. The rough electrical and plumbing are in. We're waiting for inspections before completing that and moving forward. The windows and exterior doors are in. The crew is now of Christmas holiday. ReplyDeleteWOW...I haven't looked for quite some time. Cold, flu, etc. Sure have come a long way since the last time I checked it out. I guess the construction crew is back from their Christmas break and are going full steam ahead. Everything sure looks great. I notice you haven't posted since 12/23/10. When will you visit the site and give us a "heads up"? Soon, I hope. Bet you're both getting "itchy" to move in. I know I'd be.
